The base bidding budget is 1,084,884.94 euros, VAT included, according to the Council. The contract will last one year, with the possibility of two extensions of one year each, up to a maximum of three. What the service includes

The contracted staff will be responsible for the reception, information and guidance of visitors, both in person and by telephone and electronically. They will also manage bookings and registrations, support organised visits and cultural activities, attend to people with special accessibility needs and advise on the use of digital devices and resources. In addition, this includes ticket management, information on exhibitions, workshops and educational activities and the collection of suggestions.

Twelve spaces

The coverage extends to the Museo de la Guitarra Antonio de Torres, the Casa-Taller Antonio de Torres, the Centro de Interpretación Patrimonial, the Refugios de la Guerra Civil, the Casa del Poeta, the Casa del Cine, the Aljibes Árabes, the Yacimiento Arqueológico Barrio Andalusí, the Ecomuseo de la Vega de Almería, the Museo de Arte de Almería-Doña Pakyta, the Museo de Arte de Almería-Espacio 2 and the Torreón de San Miguel. According to the City Council, these spaces together receive an average of 190,000 visitors per year.

Municipal assessment

The councillor added that the nearly 190,000 annual visitors «encourage us to continue working to offer a quality service, close, professional and adapted to the needs of all audiences».

Procedure

The agreement of the Local Government Board includes the approval of the administrative clauses and technical specifications that will govern the contracting.
