The municipality
Pulpí is a municipality in the Levante Almeriense, in the northeastern part of the province, which borders Cuevas del Almanzora and Huércal-Overa and the Murcian municipalities of Lorca and Águilas. According to the INE, in 2025 it had 12,214 inhabitants. Its term includes localities such as San Juan de Terreros, La Fuente, Pilar de Jaravía or Pozo de la Higuera.
