Tickets at 10 euros
Tickets cost 10 euros. They can be purchased at the AECC headquarters, at calle Gerona, número 38, and at the Auditorio box office from one hour before the start of the concert. The event listing in the AlmeríaYa agenda gathers the venue, time and price: Concierto solidario a beneficio de la AECC.
What the proceeds fund
The president of the AECC in Almería, Magdalena Cantero, states that the entity is «la asociación es la entidad privada que más dinero destina en nuestro país a investigar contra el cáncer» and puts the annual investment at more than 157 million euros, with a network of more than 3,000 researchers and five projects with the Universidad de Almería.
Municipal collaboration
The concert has the collaboration of the Área de Cultura, Educación, Museos y Tradiciones del Ayuntamiento de Almería, which provides the municipal space. The delegated councillor for the area, Joaquín Pérez de la Blanca, explains that this provision reflects «los valores compartidos entre la cultura y la Legión». Lieutenant Colonel Federico Aguado states that taking part is «un orgullo» and encourages the public to attend.
