The Delicatessen Programme begins its autumn season with «Empaque», by the company Chicharrón Circo Flamenco. The date is Thursday, October 29, at 20.30 hours, at the Teatro Apolo. The show mixes juggling, singing, rhythms and word in a contemporary dramaturgy that, according to its organisers, seeks to answer the question «Who am I?» from the poetry of circus and humour.
Tickets and pass for two works
An individual ticket costs 14 euros. For the last quarter of the year there is a second date: «Tres piezas», by the company of José Maldonado and Karen Lugo, on Thursday, November 26, also at the Apolo and at 20.30 hours. Anyone who wants to go to both can buy a joint pass for 22 euros, compared with the 28 they would cost separately.
Tickets and the pass can be purchased at the municipal box office at the Apolo and on the Área de Cultura ticket website. They can also be bought at the theatre box office from one hour before the start of each performance.
A company with recent awards
Chicharrón Circo Flamenco is an Andalusian company directed by Germán J. López Galván, teacher, social educator and juggler. He founded the project in 2019 and its first show, «Sin Ojana», premiered in 2020 at the Festival Circada. Its recognitions include the Premio Talía and the Premio Lorca for Best Circus Show 2026, the Premio Fetén for Best Night Show 2025 and two PACA 2025 awards for Best Circus Performer and Best Costume.
